Singing Grace Ranch (SGR) offers a safe haven for abused, neglected and abandoned animals, providing them with a second chance. Rescued animals are rehabilitated with love, care and training and contribute to therapeutic experiences for individuals with disabilities and at-risk youth. SGR also hosts a variety of on-site events that bring the community together in a faith-filled, inclusive environment that celebrates animals and humans alike.

Terry's love for animals was ingrained in her at a very young age as she watched and helped her mother rescue and rehab just about every kind of animal you can think of. She always knew God would allow her to help His creatures big and small, but what she didn't know was the passion God would place on her heart in her adult years working with people with special needs. After more than a decade of providing animal- assisted therapeutic interactions to humans in need, Terry has also participated in many trainings including a certification through the Certified Horsemanship Association. She made Singing Grace Ranch official in 2018 to continue her mission in helping animals and humans, enriching her community and following God's path.
You can always find Terry at the ranch with her husband and best friend, dogs, horses, donkeys, mini horses, goats, lambs, pig, cat, rooster, chicken, duck and bunnies...and more to come!

Virginia has not only been involved with SGR since its beginning stages, she is also one of the founding board members and resident "Grandma" to all of SGR's animals! This is evident by how excited dogs Oliver and Zoe get when Virginia arrives at the ranch.
When asked why she got involved with Singing Grace Ranch after working with another nonprofit, she explains "The love and compassion, provided through the word of God, was reason enough to become involved. We worked together to build a board that also has a love for those in need, whether it's children with developmental delays or animals needing a home that could give them love and a purpose."

Marcy has been a part of SGR since its inception. When she met Terry (somewhere around 2004-2005, but this is a much-debated topic), Terry shared with her the calling God placed on her heart and they have been following that calling together ever since. Marcy has a heart for children with disabilities and behavioral concerns and has dedicated her professional career with 24 years of experience. In addition to working as a local public school teacher who works specifically with this population of children, Marcy is also a proud momma of 4 rescue dogs (2 of whom were rescued through Terry and SGR), chickens and her beloved guinea fowl "clown birds".
Through the many years volunteering alongside Terry, Marcy has witnessed many miracles through the interactions with the animals. From hearing a child's first words while on the back of a horse, to seeing a child with Autism give his first eye contact to Ed the Amazing Goat (may he rest in peace). When asked who her favorite animal is at the ranch, she'll tell you she simply cannot choose. They all have their own personalities, their own stories and their own special talents to give the world.

Haley joined the SGR board in 2025. She met Terry through a Facebook post that lead to Haley's husband, Kyle, doing some tractor repair work at the ranch. When Kyle mentioned to Terry that his wife had been looking for opportunities to volunteer with horses, it took one phone conversation for Haley to realize that Terry's mission was one that she wanted to help and support. As a full-time corporate professional with experience in program management, process improvement, IT systems and communications, Haley had been searching for ways to use her professional skills to help causes in need for quite some time, and there is no doubt in her mind that God put Terry in her path. Not only has Terry and SGR helped give Haley a sense of purpose she longed for, but it also facilitated Haley and her family adopting 4 horses!

Nichelle has been blessed to be a part of Singing Grace Ranch since 2018. Having a child with autism has opened so many different doors for Nichelle and her family, one of which brought them to SGR when their daughter fell in love with the ranch and now they volunteer as a family.
Nichelle is proud of her born and raised country roots and a true testament to the meaning of nurturing a strong community. From a small town, she and her family have always been very involved in their church and community. She and her husband, Shawn, have worked missions in Guatemala. At that time, they also worked with the community youth by being their pastors. Nichelle and Shawn worked for many years at Falls Creek, which helped build their foundation of love for children. Today, one of her church involvements is teaching a pre-teen girls Sunday school class. Because of their church and children’s involvements, they have been able to “adopt” so many special people and make an impact on their lives. Nichelle and Shawn have built a family foundation by being parents to three beautiful children, whom they are so very proud of.

Kathleen joined the SGR board in 2025 and has been part of the SGR family since her son, Cashion, started therapeutic riding in 2024 (and he has made incredible progress!).
As a mother and a registered nurse, Kathleen loves sharing her testimony of faith and introducing the benefits of therapeutic riding to other special needs families. She is a wonderful advocate and connector, assisting with social media and community outreach projects at SGR.
